Ibexa Summit 2026: the evolution towards a European martech orchestration platform
On February 5 and 6, part of the Infinitum Digital and Clever Age team travelled to Lisbon to attend the Ibexa Summit 2026, a gathering that once again brought together the European community of partners, technical experts and leaders of the martech ecosystem.

Over two intense days, we had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the innovations that will shape the future of Ibexa… and we can say that this year the evolution is deep: we move from talking about composition to talking about intelligent orchestration.
A transformation that not only redefines the platform, but also the way organisations connect content, data, campaigns and digital experiences.
Orchestration: the new layer that redefines the Ibexa ecosystem
The central announcement of the Summit was the presentation of the Ibexa Orchestration Engine, a layer placed above the DXP that transforms the way organisations activate campaigns, manage data and coordinate products.
Unlike a monolithic model, Ibexa connects highly specialised products through orchestration:
- Cohesivo (CMS): evolutionary content management
- Actito (CEP): omnichannel activation and engagement
- Raptor (CDP): segmentation, predictions and personalisation
- Quable (PIM): product data management
- Qualifio (DCP): first‑party data collection
Each product maintains its focus and independence, but they now connect through a common layer that coordinates flows, rules, data and actions in real time.

From independent products to a unified ecosystem
The Summit confirmed Ibexa’s commitment to a composable, API-first and fully flexible architecture, where technical teams can integrate any corporate system without added complexity.
The DXP becomes the core that connects three key domains: Customer Data, Channels and Product Data, centralised on a common infrastructure.
This approach enables fully leaving behind the “all‑in‑one” model and moving toward an ecosystem where each component does exactly what it is supposed to do—within a shared framework.
Another key focus of the presentation was the complete harmonisation of the user experience across all products.
The goal is clear: a composable platform only works if teams can move from one product to another without friction.
New interfaces, coherent navigation and a unified visual system allow teams to work within an ecosystem that finally feels like a single platform.
Cohesivo CMS: a new identity at the centre of the experience
One of the most visible points is the repositioning of the CMS under the Cohesivo brand.
It is not a new CMS, but the natural evolution of Ibexa’s CMS: same technological base, same core, same SaaS / PaaS / On‑Premise compatibility, and a new approach and visual identity.
Its purpose is to become the central piece connecting content, data and products in a fluid experience.
Agentic AI: from generating content to executing decisions
The incorporation of agentic AI was one of the most important announcements. Instead of focusing on isolated generative AI, Ibexa introduces:
- Assistants: the human interface of orchestration. They capture intention, support decisions and guide processes.
- Agents: specialised executors that act within defined limits and enable the transition from decisions to coordinated actions.
This vision aligns with European principles of human control, traceability, transparency and data governance.
A global strategy driven by a team of 350 professionals
Ibexa also strengthened its position as a European group with a global strategy, more than 350 employees and 150 engineers working on the platform.
A solid roadmap supports this new phase, focusing on:
- expanding integrations
- deploying assistants across all products
- cross‑product automation via agents
- expanding the orchestration engine
For us, attending the Ibexa Summit is not only an opportunity to learn about new features, but also a space to share insights with other partners, compare approaches and exchange strategic ideas. It was two days of conversations, technical sessions and networking that confirmed that Ibexa is taking a step towards a truly differential European martech orchestration platform, and at Infinitum Digital we are ready to support our clients in this new phase.
This year’s Summit marks a before and after: Ibexa ceases to be just a modular DXP and becomes the backbone of a unified martech ecosystem, prepared to integrate data, automate decisions and power smarter digital experiences.
